Our online ordering system closes when we are booked up. To make an order and see availability, please visit our website www.theartisancookery.co.uk. Prices on our website are in British pound and including taxes. Please note we are a small business and orders are subject to availability. Our products are made fresh to order. For urgent matters, please email us to email@example.com.
DELIVERY & COLLECTION
Collection are not available at the moment.
Our courier will attempt to deliver at the address provided within our delivery times. It is solely the clients responsibility to ensure that the intended recipient is available to receive the package on the day. Where there is no response at the address, the driver will attempt to deliver to a neighbour and call the number provided and notify of failed delivery. We are not be liable for failed deliveries due to the recipient not being in to take the order and do not offer any form of refunds in this case. We also cannot offer redirections/ redeliveries on the day.
We are dedicated to delivering great food on time. In the event that we are delayed due to unforeseen circumstances we will notify you straight away.
When you become responsible: a product will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the product to you or you collect it from us
FOOD & PRODUCE
Please be aware all platters, boxes and grazing tables are subject to availability and what is in season. It is your responsibility to inform us well in advance of any dietary requirements. While we make every effort to accommodate such requirements, this may not always be possible. Pricing may also vary. It is also your responsibility to inform us of any food allergies or intolerances well in advance. Our food is not prepared in an allergen-free environment. While we may be able to label items containing possible allergens ahead of time on request, there is a risk of cross-contamination. Anyone with a severe food allergy should refrain from consuming our products. All food should be refrigerated immediately or consumed within 2 hours of delivery. After this time, The Artisan Cookery will not be accountable for the freshness of the food. The Artisan Cookery is not responsible for the removal and disposal of food waste post-event. The Artisan Cookery does not supply plates, cutlery or napkins. Disposable wooden cutlery, palm leaf plates and paper napkins can be provided at an additional cost.
CANCELLATIONS, POSTPONEMENTS & SURCHARGES
A. In the case of cancellations notified thirty one (31) days or more, The Artisan Cookery will refund the full amount paid or provide a credit note to use at a later date depending on our availability.
B. In the case of cancellations notified between seven (7) and thirty (30) days notice, The Artisan Cookery will refund the full amount paid minus 10% admin fees or provide a credit note to use at a later date depending on our availability. Postponements are not allowed.
C. In the case of a cancellation notified six (6) days or less notice, The Artisan Cookery will retain the full amount paid.
All cancellations must be notified in writing via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will acknowledge the cancellation via email. Please do not WhatsApp or text us about order changes.
BUFFET SET UP SERVICE
- Order must be confirmed at least 7 days in advance of event date and is subject to availability.
- Full payment is due upon order confirmation
- Payment modes are via online payment link and will be sent via email with invoice upon order confirmation.
- Please allow between 1 – 3 hours for us to set up, depending on the size and requirements of your buffet table. Should a takedown service by our waiting staff be added (at an additional charge), please allow approximately 1 hour to tidy, clean and clear.
- The Artisan Cookery is not responsible for the disposal of food waste post event.
- Our catering is self-service only. We can arrange waiting staff with an external staffing company.
- The Artisan Cookery does not supply plates, cutlery or napkins. Disposable wooden cutlery, palm leaf plates and paper napkins can be provided at an additional cost.
- An additional surcharge from £65.00 + VAT is applied for buffet setup.
- The hiring of theme-appropriate props outside of what we have in stock can be included and added to your quote upon request and subject to availability.
- Loss or damage to equipment is subject to charges based on the retail value of the item as advised by The Artisan Cookery.
- An additional charge will be added for locations outside our 10 miles journey from NW7. Please advise us on the parking and loading locations.
- Food should be consumed within 2 hours after set up. Take away boxes are not supplied as consumption of food after the event is not advised.
THE DAY OF THE EVENT
We will arrive to your event location 1-3 hours prior to the guests arrival. We will need to have a table/surface ready for us. The table and tablecloth will be provided by the customer. The set up will be ready 15 minutes prior to the arrival of your guests. Please note that we are very busy during the weekends so we will schedule the collection of our props around our schedule in coordination with the customer. All platters, dishes and serving spoons have to be cleaned by the customer. If the customer forget to hand us over any of our props, it is the customer's full responsibility to return it to us within 24 hours.
CONFIRMATION OF BUFFET BOOKING & RESERVING A DATE
The acceptance of your order will take place when we email you the confirmation email. Please note that the booking can be considered as confirmed only upon receipt of 50% of the total price with the remaining balance due 7 days before the date of the function.
BUFFET SET UP REQUIREMENTS
A suitable table must be provided at the venue. Buffet tables must be set up indoors in an air-conditioned space, away from direct sunlight. In hot days for food safety reasons, The Artisan Cookery advise against setting up a buffet table outdoors. The Artisan Cookery will not be liable for any circumstances, costs, liabilities or claims arising out of a failure to adhere to the table requirements.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The limitations on liability set out below will not apply to any claim which is the consequence of fraud, dishonesty, wilful concealment, wilful misrepresentation or gross negligence by or on behalf of The Artisan Cookery. The Artisan Cookery will under no circumstances whatsoever be liable to you in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, for any special, indirect or consequential losses arising out of this Agreement. To the extent permitted by law, you acknowledge that The Artisan Cookery’ maximum aggregate liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, shall in all circumstances be limited to the aggregate value of the invoice issued to the customer by The Artisan Cookery under this Agreement.
The Artisan Cookery will not be liable for failures or delays in performing its obligations hereunder arising from any cause beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, acts of God, acts of civil or military authority, fires, strikes, lockouts or labour disputes, epidemics, governmental restrictions, wars, terrorist acts, riots, earthquakes, storms, typhoons, floods and breakdowns in electronic and computer information and communications systems.
