A day spent in Ecovinyassa: A Citrus farm in Sóller valley

Arriving in Sóller was a truly beautiful experience. The town is nestled in a valley surrounded by the Tramuntana Mountains, and as we drove down the winding road, the views just kept getting more and more stunning. The sun was shining and the sky was a deep blue, and the fields of citrus trees that dotted the landscape were bursting with bright, colourful fruit.

As we entered the town itself, we were struck by the charming architecture and cobblestone streets. The houses were painted in warm, earthy tones and had terracotta roofs, and the narrow streets were lined with small shops and restaurants. It felt like we had stepped back in time, and we couldn't wait to explore and discover all that Sóller had to offer.

Whenever I go to places abroad I ask the locals what's the most euthentic food expirience I can find in the area. Ecovinyassa, the local citrus farm was the top of everyone's list!

As soon as you arrive there, you'll be struck by the beauty and serenity of the place. The farm is surrounded by lush groves of orange, lemon, and olive trees, and the air is filled with the sweet smell of citrus. You'll be greeted by the friendly staff, who will show you around the farm and explain the history and process of citrus farming.

One of the highlights of a visit to Ecovinyassa is the chance to try some of the farm's delicious citrus products. The farm produces a variety of artisanal juices, marmalades, and other products made from locally grown oranges, lemons, and other citrus fruits. These products are all made using traditional methods, and they are truly a taste of heaven.

As you wander through the self-guided tour, you'll come across a special surprise. Between the rows of orange trees, you'll find a basket with your name on it. Inside, you'll discover a refreshing taste of the farm's delicious products.

After completing the tour, you'll be invited to sit in a beautiful spot with breathtaking views of the mountains. There, you'll be served a variety of home-grown and home-made treats, all made with the freshest ingredients from the farm. It's the perfect way to end your visit to Ecovinyassa, savouring the flavours of this unique and special place.

Whether you're a foodie, a nature lover, or simply someone who enjoys exploring new places, this citrus farm is sure to delight and inspire you. So if you're planning a trip to Mallorca, be sure to add Ecovinyassa to your itinerary – you won't be disappointed!
