This recipe is perfect for sharing as a starter or as a light lunch. Enjoy!
- 1 Camembert cheese, with the top slightly sliced off
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1 loaf of French bread, sliced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place the sliced Camembert cheese in a small baking dish or oven-safe dish with the top slightly sliced off. Drizzle the honey over the top of the cheese, followed by the red chilli flakes.
- Arrange the sliced French bread around the Camembert cheese in the same dish.
- Drizzle the bread with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes and sliced red onion over the top of the Camembert cheese and bread.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and gooey and the bread is golden brown.
- Serve immediately while it’s still hot and gooey.
