- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 700g fresh/frozen broccoli florets
- 200g sliced mushrooms
- Your favourite pasta (500g)
- 200ml double cream
- 50ml milk/almond milk
- salt, pepper, nutmeg
- Garnish: shaved Parmesan
Place a big pot with olive oil on the hob. Add 1 tbsp minced garlic, fresh/frozen broccoli florets and 200g sliced mushrooms.
Cover the pot for about 10 minutes on high heat - in between stir it with a wooden spatula every two minutes.
In another pot cook your favourite pasta (500g). Add 200ml double cream, 50ml milk/almond milk, salt, pepper, nutmeg and continue stirring.
Cook for about 5-7 minutes and add the pasta.
Top with shaved Parmesan and enjoy
If you don't have broccoli or mushrooms you can use any vegetables you have in your fridge! For dairy free recipe, use alternative soy cream instead of the double cream.
